Need DD-WRT to really shine!

Before installing DD-WRT, I couldn't recommend this router to anyone. I have two major problems with this device. 1) I can't reliably get AirPrint to work. AirPrint uses IP multicast to advertise the service and the multicast feature does not work on this router. I spent hours getting it to work. My AirPrint printers are not visible to my iPhone and I have to manually add them by IP address on my Macs. It broke the deal for me. My old Buffalo router with DDWRT didn't have this problem. 2) I bought this router because it advertised a guest network. It also has the ability to set up a schedule and turn off Wi-Fi at specific times. My idea was to have the main network for adult devices and the guest network for kids devices. I then turned off the kids' network for the night so they could sleep instead of watching YouTube all night. It failed miserably. If I apply the schedule to the guest network, it would turn off at 10:00 at night, which is what I wanted. However, the main network also fails. It turns out that the radio is turned off according to the schedule, and not the SSID. Installed the DD-WRT firmware from the Trendnet kit. Now the device works great. He does everything I need. I can print to my Airprint printers from any device. I also set up a kids network and planned to turn it off at night. DD-WRT fixed this router! One star off for bad default firmware.
