I love this counterweight. It is quite compact and attaches very securely to the helmet thanks to its sturdy construction and Velcro. In addition to the weights that come with the kit, I wanted to pack a few extra batteries in my bag for my PVS-14 and Inforce flashlight. I managed to weight four AAs and four C123s. It balances my night vision quite well and takes a lot of strain off my neck. I've heard the weights rust, so I'm going to spray them with some kind of sealant to keep that from happening.
