Review on πŸ’½ Maxtor L01P120 Internal Hard Drive: High Performance 7200 RPM, 120 GB Storage by Jignesh Shaffer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Huge storage, fast access seems to hold up

For those who need MASSIVE storage, it's time to upgrade to 120 gigabytes! Depending on what type of user you are, this drive is just great. If you're planning on maybe getting online and using your computer to write documents or pay taxes, you probably don't need that big of a drive. But for hardcore users, this drive is for you. I actually migrated to this drive from an 80GB drive that I was constantly tapping on. I'm running Windows XP on a partition with Red Hat Linux 8.0. Each OS (operating system) takes up some space on its own, and after I start loading my CDs, movies, games, etc., I run out of space. I don't even worry about my entertainment center anymore. , as all my media files are stored on my computer. As I move around a lot, I've found that I don't have to wait to unpack all my stuff to find the exact CD I want to listen to, which makes life pretty easy! This drive works pretty well, seems to be holding up well, and access times are pretty decent. If you're looking for something smaller, the standout drive for me was the Seagate Barracuda 80GB drive (I have 2 and have been using both for about 8 months). ). If you don't have large storage needs, I've had good experiences with Maxtor 30GB hard drives as well. I have one right now that has been a rock for the last 2 years. I now use it as a backup for important files!
