I was trying to use this on a large hole in a truck restoration project. It did not work. The substrate didn't adhere to the metal and the bondo just ripped it off. The holes are too small to securely attach the bondo to the metal through them. You need to make a product with much larger holes in the straps. I have a few more of these and am going to try them on a hole that I can access from both sides. This does not work for blind holes. But it should work if you can hold it on both sides. That way the bond glass (or whatever you're using) doesn't fall through the big hole. What really works is JB Weld Metallic Epoxy Putty. It also blocks large blind holes without falling through. Because it's a thick putty and will stick to both sides of the hole. Store this product until you can hold it in place in Bondo, back and front.
