I have had one of these salt grinders (purchased from Sur La Table) for about 10 years. It seemed ridiculously expensive at first, but the difference in quality is reasonable: the ease with which it produces ultra-fine grinds (i.e. less salt but more flavor) and its durability (the mechanism works just as well as it did when new). and the acrylic is not faded or cracked). So I was happy that this model is still available from Revain. I also ordered a matching pepper mill from a third party (I was lucky because it was the last one :)). This way I have three suitable tabletop grinders: pepper, Himalayan salt (which I prefer), and regular sea salt (which others prefer). It's nice to find a product that lives up to the hype and the saying you're getting. what are you paying for, right? In my opinion Peugeot builds amazing cars.
