I was looking for something to hang reference posters for pianos and guitars and with this amazing background stand with added support I found the perfect resolution. I am not currently using this stand for its intended purpose but will also use it to hang my smaller projection screen when installing in the back bedroom. As far as hanging goes, I'm very happy with it. It is very easy to assemble and the user has room for creativity. By that I mean you don't have to use every detail to create a custom one. I found that I didn't want to use a third metal rod that runs down the middle. It would be too wide for the living room of my apartment, where it is used most of the time. If I leave one of the crossbars I can set them aside for later use. I know I'll end up installing this outside of the temporary entertainment night, so I'll keep this extra bar somewhere easy to access. There are two hanging pockets used for weighting to stabilize the two end legs which are tripod design. The kit includes four large clips that came in handy when attaching the reference posters that I hung on the stand. I like that there is an extension in the middle of the two main parts of the tripod. I managed to increase the height to about four feet, which is as intended, so I'm happy. Adjustment of the tripod legs and extension pole is made possible by easy-to-use round handwheels. Installation was very quick, taking about five or six minutes to assemble. In conclusion, I am very satisfied with this background set and I recommend it to people who are engaged in photography, as well as for hanging, as I use it.
