This lantern foes a good job, I use it all over house and garage. It's pretty bright no complaints there. It does go through batteties rather quickly. I don't use rechargeable batteries so may be more satisfied of I did. Hooks on side a nice feature for hanging about everywhere. I've dropped mine a couple times and it quit working. O closed lantern re opened and worked was if I hadent dropped it at all. So I guess it's tougher than it looks at least so far. Gave some as presents last Xmas as well. Not sure what all's out there but there work for me !
