The size matches my rating.

Can't tell if they're truly waterproof yet (if not I'll update during our Minnesota winter), but the 5-6 year sizing seems accurate. My recent 6 year old daughter is small for her age and they fit her well with enough room to grow further into the coming winter and will probably still be able to use them easily for the start of next winter.
