Nicely painted toolbox but overall a very light toolbox. The latches and handle aren't very well made, and the drawers slide out fine, but they're very light and don't fit well. That's fine for an inexpensive, smaller box that stores common household tools, but don't expect anything that compares to a true heavy-duty tool chest. There are no liners in the drawers, but they can be added to prevent tools from rolling around in the drawers or top shelf. The drawers lock when the top is closed and unlock automatically when the top is opened. The latch has a hole for hanging a padlock to protect your tools, but any wire cutters can easily damage the cheap latch mechanism if someone tries to get inside. This box is very pretty to look at and I love the colors but I don't recommend it if you want something durable that will last a long time. Good for a tool box at home or as a starter box for those just starting to put together a small tool kit. I don't feel comfortable rating it above average as it's advertised as a 'heavy chest' and I just couldn't find it.
