Review on ๐Ÿ”ด Pilot Automotive PL-SW26 Performance Toggle Switch with Red Safety Cover, Red Anodized Finish, Blue Anodized Finish, Carbon Fiber Effect by Montez Vazquez

Both broke after 2 weeks of use.

I've never seen anything like it, the shifter actually came loose from the body along with the threads. As you can see in the picture, a closer look reveals that there is no glue connecting the threads to the base of the switch, which allowed the lever to just "fall out". It was used on a tracked vehicle for one of the sensors and was not subjected to unnecessary pressure as it was hidden in the cab next to the armrest. It literally broke when used for its intended purpose and the only force applied to it was the flick of a finger. Quite disappointed as this means we won't be in contact for the next few days while I try to arrange an exchange. If the seller sends a replacement I will update this review, but from the looks of it it fell short of what is essentially an $8 mug. We checked the connection on the wires and the pressure gauge caught fire, when connected to the toggle switch it doesn't toggle on and off. Either we received a faulty batch that failed the SAME DAY, or the internal parts of the switch are not reliable enough for everyday use. Again, not even race conditions prevailed, the car was parked and turned on and off only to prepare for the track. I'll return both switches and just get the kit out of the car zone. If you need a durable switch, together avoid the headache and just choose the toggle switch in the auto zone.
