At first I was pleased to receive and use these Detail Abrasive Pads. The large pad is about 1/4 inch smaller than the DeWalt Sandpad (which I have). A smaller pad is good in theory, doesn't lag. There was a bottleneck with the sanding, used a smaller pad and it worked great for 5 minutes. The sandpaper started to slip off. So tried another piece of sandpaper, took 2 minutes for the sandpaper to come off. The small protrusions at the top of the 1/4" pad are gone :( rendering the sanding pad and accompanying sandpaper useless.
