We got this 7 year old son this summer and it's almost November and he's still wearing them! They are durable and appear to be built to withstand wear and tear! My son spends as much time outdoors as he can, we live in the country and these shoes have been on hikes, bike rides and even lakes and are still holding up! We got them because they're built just like the Keen, with protected toes and grippy soles. Last year he had hobbies that we got a lot of money for but couldn't find any this year. But so happy with them and will be buying more especially now that we have our second boy!
