TESTING To test: 1. Use the provided titrate to draw water from the tank and place it (twice) in the provided bowl2 . Put 2 drops of solution 3. Put the wand in a really hard to open and tiny container filled with powder and coat the wand with the powder4. Insert this stick into the water/solution in the bowl and stir5. Wait 4 minutes if testing ionic copper including cupramine (15 minutes if using chelated copper). RESULTS ARE HARD TO READ I know some people are color blind and have trouble distinguishing colors on this type of test, but I'm not. In fact, I tested my ability to perceive colors and scored very high. I use this in combination with Cupramine and here is my problem with it. Cupramine has a therapeutic effect in doses of 0.4 mg/l to 0.5 mg/l, and concentrations of 0.6 mg/l and above are fatal to fish. The gradient is so difficult to read that I wonder if my values are between 0.3 mg/l and 0.6 mg/l. At a level of less than 0.4 mg/l, this means that ichthyophthyroidism and velvetiness can return after 2 weeks of treatment. Imagine doing this and leaving your tank idle for 76 days and having to start over. I expect them to work well together, but not like this. Seachem should fix the readability issue. Other improvements: - The titration should be large enough to collect water from the aquarium at once - The tiny powder container should open much easier.
