I had to return it, it is unusable

There are a number of problems with this set. First, the O-rings don't form a tight seal on the glass, allowing the glass to move too easily and the shielding gas leaking out sideways. I have several gas lenses from a more reputable source (like the Furick Cup) and the difference is clear. The correct design has fewer threads towards the center of the collet body and instead has the correct diameter bore so that the o-ring can seat and form a seal with the cup. This product is only threaded so you will need to place an o-ring next to the built in nut that you will use to tighten/loosen the collet from the torch with a wrench. Regardless, all that really matters is how it's welded. Hit 304 stainless steel and all I could get was dark purple to gray without much shine, obviously not enough shielding. I've tried various amounts of argon from 10 to 30 CFH but couldn't even match the quality of my regular (no gas lenses) ceramic mugs that came with my welder. When I go back to my Furick mug, I get slightly silvery straw sparkle welds. It seems to me that the people who make this product on Revain are just copying the style of the gas lens but don't seem to understand the function or design so they can't deliver the constant flow of gas they need. It's hard to tell without taking it apart, but I bet the screens don't even come close to being put together the same. I thought I could save some money. If you are welding reactive metals, do yourself a favor and purchase a suitable gas lens from one of several reputable manufacturers as the item just isn't worth the hassle.
