Review on Nokian Tires Nordman RS2 SUV 225/60 R18 104R winter by Stanisaw Lem ᠌

I've been riding Velcro for 20 years. Winter mode - 95% city, 5% trips out of town. Summer 50/50. Over the past 10 years, traveled (mostly) to Bridgestone and Good-er, Toyo. There were different models and winter and summer. Summer liked Turanza ER300 (that came from the factory). Drove it for 5 seasons! If we talk about the difficult winter period, then again, Bridgestone, for example, liked the WS-60 very much, it’s a pity they removed it from production. I rode the REVO GZ for the last couple of winters, it is too soft and wears off quickly. At the same time, there was some rocking and for myself I refused in the future from "asymmetric" rubber in principle. The price is high for the "novelties", while they drive rather strangely. As they say, there are no comrades for taste and color, but stores offer limited availability, you have to choose from it. This season, when choosing a new kit, the combination of price / quality / characteristics / reviews played a role. On the recommendation of friends who drove Nokian and who sold them, my choice was in favor of the Nordman RS2 SUV (with a reinforced sidewall), although I don’t have a jeep, but just a hatchback with increased ground clearance. Rubber moderately hard, time-tested. Beautiful "sporty" design is combined with serious performance. I chose a little wider than the standard size (225/50/17), since I drive, I repeat, not on spikes. The impressions of this rubber are extremely positive, I expect that it will last at least 3 seasons. As an alternative, I considered Nitto (daughter of Toyo, Japan), they are praised, but the price has risen by the season while I was thinking, and as a result I took Nokian. The price of the kit is 25 tyr.
