Review on Laowa 100Mm 2 8 Ultra Macro by Juanita Valentin

I bought this to carry my Sony A7iii after the Laowa team told me it would work and I could use the aperture control and also write the exif data to a file, as opposed to full manual mode. Version for other cameras. When it arrived it didn't work properly and was very disruptive to the footage. The seller was willing to refund my money but I contacted Laowa directly who promised me it would work. They upgraded my lens with a new chip as my copy was an old first run firmware. Now it works like a charm. The aperture control on the Sony A7iii works great, I no longer get crazy overexposed pictures and all my files contain Exif data. The lens is very sharp and the 2x gong is awesome. I LOVE this lens! (The picture I've attached is the first picture I took of it while walking around. I can't wait to get it into the studio for some serious macro work.)
