After six months, I was able to pinpoint the primary drawback. You can't disable the Fn key, so you'll have to use your left hand and spread your fingers if you want to lower the screen's brightness. This is the only drawback I've noticed so far, but it's a big one: the laptop makes a lot of noise, and if you don't install the accompanying utility, you won't be able to adjust the fan speed or enable auto-restart. The Fn + F5 key combination and the Armory Crate are all that's needed to take command of the situation. You won't get very far on foot if you try to carry it in a bag with one hand for an extended period of time, and you won't get very far with a backpack, either. Home users will find that the monitor's great picture quality (+ ips), comfortable refresh rate (144 Hz for shooters and dots), adequate sound quality (3+), and responsive touch pad make it a solid choice. Also of note, touching the iron cover when the power is on causes it to vibrate from the voltage or whatever it is, but it will not shock you (it was grounded for everyone). Don't forget to include a stand of some sort in your kit; it's not for chilling, but rather so you can watch movies in bed without burning your legs.
