Review on πŸ–¨οΈ WINSINN HT NTC100K Extruder Thermistor for Printers by Kevin Singh

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There is no data sheet and does not appear to match any standard Marlin chart

They work and the design is good. Unfortunately they don't match any of the standard high end Marlin tables. If you use them at 200 degrees they will probably work for you using the standard NTC100K charts, but the temperatures vary by about 5-10 degrees and they will vary further and further as you go up. This is fine if you enter per-thread settings. The actual temperature doesn't matter as long as you just experiment and find the right setting. However, if you rely on manufacturer recommendations or have multiple printers, it is important to have accurate temperature reports. I ended up putting them in a drawer and laying out the Slice Engineering High Temp Printer. Too much hassle setting up a multiple thermistor setup to create your own tables. Maybe one day I'll get to it, but not today.

Pros
  • βœ”οΈThe HT-NTC100K thermistor is fitted with a high temperature white wire that is capable of withstanding higher temperatures. And for customers' convenience, the wires use line connection, customer can break the wires according to their application. The high temperature line is twice as thick as others on the market and not easy to break.
