Review on πŸͺš Premium 10-Inch Table Saw Blade ATB with 90 Teeth - Ultra Fine Finishing for Wood Cutting Circular Saw Blades by Overpeak by Kevin Compton

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not for bamboo floors, suitable for softwood

After researching more about different types of blades, I found out that this is an ATB blade. Was used to cut across the grain, perfect for what I needed at the time. I'm not sure what the incisors are made of, but they didn't hold up to 400 square feet of bamboo soil. The rake angle is slightly negative, which is good considering I used a cutoff saw. But the trade-off with this blade is that you have so many cutting teeth but very little room on the gusset for pulling wood shavings. This also means a reduced feed into the wood. These teeth have been ground throughout, with only about one in five teeth having corners. The theory goes that the ground teeth would be for roughing and the few canines for finishing. I have used this on faux bamboo floors. I feel like I should have bought a blade with a harder tooth material instead of this blade. Although the blade is good for the price. Ideal for shaping yellow pine and MDF. Pros: - blade for thin cuts - ATB blade for cross cuts - affordable price Cons: - the blade dulled fairly quickly and began to burn the wood during the cut. flooring. I made the bedroom. - Slow feed speed, had to pull the saw down to start cutting the floor after about 75% of the floor was done. The photos show the type of floor used and the saw blade after cross cutting. bamboo flooring.
