Great scale for the money

This is a fairly small scale (4 ½” x 2 ½”) that is great for portability. The problem with what I have is that the lid is actually touching the plastic weight plate. I pushed him down gently to see if he needed to sit longer, but the lid is still touching him. I marked the edge with a black marker and took a photo. To fix this I had to untie the thread from the zip tie to keep the lid from touching the panel. I wanted something that would stand out against the black base in case the piece of tie falls off. I don't want the lid to put unnecessary pressure on the platter when transporting the scale. ADVANTAGES: β€’ Scales are sensitive, so be careful when using a fan in the room. Conclusion: An amazing scale for the price. If it weren't for the missing protective cover, I would give it 5 stars.
