Review on Accelerator Throttle Speed Control Pedala by Mayrando Clark

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Hall Sensor

This pedal uses a hall sensor. The advantage is that you don't have to worry about the carbon fiber wiper going bad. The downside is that it's not that accurate. But for throttle control it works fine. Pinout: Red - VCC input, Yellow - ground, Green - signal. I'm using it with a raspberry analog pi @ 3.3V. I think it might have better accuracy at 5V but I didn't want to use a voltage divider. My use case drives a sewing machine motor. My first tests are positive. I don't see anything that could go wrong. If this were the case, fitting a new sensor would be trivial. Casting and mechanical is not bad. The plastic seems strong enough and moves freely.
