I bought these back when I was in the military and used them to save my back while serving in Afghanistan and sleeping on the worst mattress ever. This topper saves lives! I loved it then and just slept on it again last night and I still love it. I was about to pull off one of the cheaper $50 bills when I realized that the main problem with them was that they didn't last long. That's when I realized that even if I still had to pay $30, I already knew exactly what I needed and what I wanted. This topper is durable and will spring back quickly once the pressure is off. It's strong but not very light. They do have some weight, especially in larger sizes like Queen. They don't rip, and I know from experience that if they get wet they dry perfectly without falling apart like cheap foam pads. It takes about 15 minutes to reach full size. no smell Keeps you a bit warm but worth it for the comfort it offers.
