This durable silicone case solves almost one of the biggest problems of the Elite Series 2; its slippery lack of a rubber grip. Unfortunately, this skin is too thin and resilient to hold its shape while holding the controller; It starts to slip off the handles as the sides stretch from the center, then shrinks back as you move your arms while playing. This problem gets worse the more you use it. The reason seems to be that the material in the lower center area under the d-pad and right stick is too flimsy and fragile. Nothing covers the area in front of or below the headphone jack; as a result, the halves of the skin stretch too easily. If that area was more or better protected I don't think there would be a problem. I've had skins for many controllers and none had this problem. This is really unfortunate as this could have been a must have accessory for the Elite Series 2 and I REALLY hope this issue can be fixed. The positive: the leather fits well, is comfortable and has a good grip (at least until it stretches). I checked if there is an issue with the paddle operation as mentioned in other reviews. At first I didn't find any issues with the petals, as the tact switches still clicked down, but I found that at certain angles, like pressing the bottom edge of the lower petals, they don't actually activate the button due to contact with the skin - depending as your finger presses on the paddle, you may have trouble with it! The controller still fits in the case and can be charged wirelessly, but to be honest I'd rather have a skin that stays together than one that allows my controller to physically touch the wireless charger. Manufacturers' responses to reviews I've seen require more detail on what can be fixed, so hopefully Extremerate will consider my research, photos and comments to prevent skin stretching in the future so they can create a version that suits me pleases.
