Great product, a pleasure to use.

072022202217 Chose tires, not focusing on the price. I never skimp on tires. Auto VAZ-2111, operation Hong Kong, Hong Kong neighboring regions. 50/50 city/highway mode. Prior to this, several seasons was Continental summer / winter. For example, the ContiIceContact is an excellent tire in terms of handling and braking/acceleration, but there are a couple of drawbacks. Sometimes it digs into the snow and is extremely sensitive to low tire pressure - soon it starts to poison through the spikes and the process becomes unpredictable. Therefore, for this season I decided to experiment with other tires, and if I don’t like it, I will return to Continental. After studying the Internet, I chose between Continental IceContact2, Nokian Hakka 9 and, unexpectedly, Cordiant Snow Cross. While I took the last ones, because bribed reviews about patency in the snow and about the resistance of the sidewalls to our roads. I wanted rubber in a stronger way, with a margin, because. last year I ated the whole set in a circle because of the pits :( -- While running-in, mileage is 250 km. Already had to get into the mud, broken road in the field. I drove calmly, without getting stuck, rowing rubber where I had already figured out the road behind the tractor. I will ate info as I go. ---- ate from 01/09/2022 Because winter in Hong Kong and the region this year is warm and strange, so far the main operation is on occasionally icy asphalt and soil. All of the above is valid. Acceleration and braking - confidently, as it should. On the pavement, under extreme braking and blocking the wheels, the tires slip, but, releasing the brakes, control is caught normally and everything is controlled. It's decent in corners too, the main thing is not to overdo it with speed. When speeding, the car is controllable, but it feels like there is a limit. Because I don’t want to play curling by myself and others, so I try not to exceed it. The real speed on bad days in the city is about 90 km / h, the rest of the time and on the highway up to 120 km / h. The above also goes quite confidently, but common sense says to slow down; ) All the best and no accidents ; )

Pros
  • + Balanced immediately. Even with imperfect alloy wheels, all wheels are weighted within 40 grams. + On dry pavement and at temperatures around 0, behavior on the road is predictable, understandable and safe + soft, comfortable passage of potholes, joints and small pits + The price is great :) TWICE cheaper than Conti.
Cons
  • I want to note that both "disadvantages" are NOT CRITICAL at all. But you have to write something :) - after the Continental, it requires minor steering on the track (in fact, it doesn’t bother, I’m already used to it, it’s just that Conti didn’t require them at all) - while running, slightly noisy with spikes on dry pavement. Not much and the sound does not bother, in addition, everyone writes that after ~ 500 km it will pass. So far I've done 250 km. The Gislaveds were all much more noisy.
