I bought these to replace fuses in my 1976 Pioneer stereo receiver. They fit loose than the old fuses. Maybe it's metric vs. imperial standards?I bought some fuses made by BUSSMAN and these fit perfectly in my old stereo receiver. If you're restoring very old equipment, it may be better if you buy Bussman fuses.
