Yes, it's money well spent for great prints.

Good. So many reviews and broad mixed feelings about these glass beds. In any case, since this was my first 3D printer and my first exposure to this genre, I had a completely open mind, so this review will reflect the pros and cons. First, the bed is good. No defects, very well packaged to avoid damage in transit, worth the money. I didn't straighten it to check for warpage, but I had absolutely no alignment issues. Next, let's talk about the only real problem I have. It's not enough to ring the stars, but it still kind of sucks. You need to secure it with binding clips. To me, that's absurd, no matter what. Why would you make a plate like this that doesn't have a secure attachment system and requires the user to use clamps that affect print dimensions? It doesn't make any sense to me. From there everything else is fine. Printing on the textured side works great with PLA, no doubt about that. No adhesion issues, no glues, sprays or tapes required. Still, the smooth side is even better! Oops, what did I just say?! Haha! Yes, the smooth side was recommended to me in one. from FB groups and it was amazing! PETG, PLA, PLA+ are all filaments I've used and they all last a long time. Until it gets cold. But let me tell you, if you start with the textured side and decide to flip it, this is a real PITA that can be removed from the magnetic bed base (if you have one). It sticks very strongly, but actually pulls off easily if you use plastic scraperite blades or a similar thin, hard plastic scraper. All you have to do is stand between the glass and the magnetic surface and move around until you hear a slight pop. It's detached and you shouldn't have any damage to the frame or the surface of the magnet. If you hear a crackle and no pop then you screwed up lol. If you use glass, you need to adjust it. Your pace is a bit, but once you get everything set it's an amazing bed surface. While I see no need for PEI, the glass has lived up to expectations.
