Review on πŸ”‡ Eliminate Ground Loop Noise with JABINCO Ground Loop Isolator for Car Audio/Home Stereo System – Includes 3.5mm Audio Cable (Black) by Bill Dooley

Fixed noise in my satellite radio. Connecting to my Secondary Radio

So when I connected my satellite radio to the aux on my Boss BE7ACP which is 3.5mm to RCA the sound quality was terrible. It was loud, there was a generator squeal during the car's acceleration that could be heard on the radio, and the sound quality was probably close to AM radio. The bass hitting my foosball speakers was pops and crackles, not hits. It was unacceptable. This little box almost completely solved that problem. The only reason I can't really say it's perfect is because I was listening to a rock song at a moderate volume the other day and there was a slight crackle in the bass. It almost sounds like a stone hitting a door. It was only during a certain drumming and it wasn't sustained. For a hi-fi fanatic this is unacceptable. For a person like me who is just tired of taking the dash apart, that's normal. I know PAC sells another option that requires power that might work better and go via RCA instead of 3.5mm. I haven't tested this and probably won't if it becomes an issue. For a simple plug-and-play solution, this works quite well, and it's also about half the price of the PAC version. That being said, if you're an audio enthusiast, you should explore the options as the rule of thumb is you get what you pay for. But it works well for Everyman Joe. Note: I have no idea why SiriusXM doesn't include one of these in their radios.
