I had a buzzing noise from a BT device I was plugging in so I looked around and knew I could fix the buzzing. However, as soon as I plug it in, the buzzing starts, even with nothing connected on the other end. Adding something there doesn't change anything. It might work on other machines, but not on mine.

Definitely helps with bad motherboard sound. You haven't completely removed the unwanted noise. I would say it was around 80%. Honestly, this is the best I could have hoped for. I recently cleaned up an 07 Prius for my girlfriend and bluetooth audio is a big necessity having used it in previous cars.
