The bag comes in a nice drawstring pouch which is a nice little bag in itself. It protects the leather case very well. A colorful ribbon is attached to the bag itself. The bag is a beautiful versatile bag that can be used as a handbag or a small shoulder bag. The leather looks like good quality leather, with no surface defects, with the same texture and color on dark brown and light brown leather. The line is straight and even. The metal fittings seem a little cheap and of poor quality. I can imagine the legs getting a bit of wear on the bottom. The zippers work smoothly, but the two inner zippers are a bit awkward to open and close. The opening of the pouch is too small for hands to manipulate easily. The top of the bag opens and closes smoothly. The only issue is the strap that secures the bag when closed. A small leather tab at the top of the end snaps onto the handle when pulled through the hole in the handle. It's more annoying than anything. All in all this is a very nice bag with plenty of room for everything you need and maybe a few extra bits. It's not your mom's giant bag that she carries lunch, snacks, drinks and most of the first aid kit in, but if you buy it, it's not what you need it for. If the top was a bit wider to make it easier to put your hands in, it would be perfect.
