I almost never write reviews but I'm disappointed because after unpacking the humidifier and following the instructions the unit was on standby only the red button flashes. It doesn't turn on fully no matter what I press on the device or the remote control. I've tried all sorts of logistical means of troubleshooting, but to no avail. I called 24/7 support where they took my information and said they would call me back later in the day. I never got a call back so I called them again and had to go through the same process to collect the same information again. I was told they would call me back within an hour. Almost 4 hours later I didn't call and was told I would have to wait another 24-48 hours. I work in the medical field and this was the only day I was home before Christmas and for the price I am saddened by such poor support and wasted time just trying to turn the device on. I was so excited about this and really needed good moisture control while at home. What made me write this review is the lack of a clear troubleshooting guide when first turning on the device in a scenario like mine, and the fact that the "24/7 support" is just gathering information and not providing support. I just want to use this machine and will remove this review if there is a clear answer (not just for me but for others who might run into this problem). Thanks very much!
