As mentioned, the inner diameter is much smaller than you would expect from the photo. For my purposes it doesn't really matter. I couldn't find any of these locally, so getting one through Revain made sense. Along with a 1/4" NPT ball valve and some Teflon tape, I replaced and upgraded the dump valve on my old Craftsman compressor that had accumulated rust.
