Inaccurate product photo

Did not receive the product in the picture. Yes, it was a 1/4" NPT bend at 90 degrees, but the internal bore is MUCH smaller due to the way it was made, which is why I made it 1/4" instead of 1 /4" 8 inches completely ruins .

Pros
  • These fittings contain lead and are not approved for use in drinking water installations under federal law in the United States or its territories.
Cons
  • old

Suitable for hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing

As mentioned, the inner diameter is much smaller than you would expect from the photo. For my purposes it doesn't really matter. I couldn't find any of these locally, so getting one through Revain made sense. Along with a 1/4" NPT ball valve and some Teflon tape, I replaced and upgraded the dump valve on my old Craftsman compressor that had accumulated rust.

Pros
  • 90 degree elbow for connecting two pipes at an angle
Cons
  • Without automatic

Perfect as pictured

I've seen several reviews with pictures of cheaper units shipped from China. I have purchased over 450 for wellhead control installations. Manufactured from bar stock, not cheap cast iron. Durable, will not break in the field and has a full inner diameter. If you are looking for a quality elbow then this is it. I was forced to use some Chinese devices when they were out of stock. I try to avoid this for the above reasons.

Pros
  • Brass for corrosion resistance, high temperature ductility and low magnetic permeability
Cons
  • Slightly dented
