I had very high expectations for this set as I wanted to propose to my fiancee who is a bibliophile. Unfortunately, I now have to resort to my backup plan to propose to a bookstore. The set was missing about 1/4 of its pieces and most of the wood was warped. There were no "door glasses”, a battery compartment and various components of the lighting ensemble, important furniture elements and a menagerie of other necessary items in the kit. . Figuring out which part goes where isn't very difficult, but one would imagine that for the price received, one would expect a little more attention to detail. Speaking of attention to detail, this set really has it in abundance when it comes to gear. provided you actually receive the goods in full. The books are particularly detailed. I REALLY wanted to enjoy this project, but faced with an amazing inability to provide the correct amount of parts needed to create an exact replica of the advertised product, I regret my purchase.
