Unfortunately I can’t give you folks a better review with 1 - 3 months of use on this product. I just can’t wait that long to post my review. I will edit this review down the line if it is still available on Revain.I bought - on Revain - one of this "shrink” rubber type hoses for the front & back yards. They lasted about 6 months then both of them at the same time just sprung dozens of leaks in needle size hole all throughout the hose. I thought that I would try one of these metal clad hoses to see how they worked. The first thing that I liked is that the outdoor temperature - high hot in Vegas - would not be an issue as well as cold night during winter. We cooked off @ 118 deg this summer! So far the heat is not affecting the hose.Just about all of the metal clad hoses use 304 Stainless Steel as this ones does. What it is lacking from other similar hoses is brass fittings - they are the best connection wise & leak wise. This one has ¾” aluminum fittings. If you disconnect the hose & take off another hose a lot, the aluminum fittings will wear faster & you will have leaks & eventually the fitting is useless - time for a new hose. What you can do, however; is to buy two brass fitting & put them on the hose’s aluminum fittings. This will help immensely.I have used this product for a week & it has done a good job water pressure wise without kinking & is very light weight. It comes with a plastic spray nozzle which I did not use & I put on a "gun-type” sprayer. I would recommend doing that if you are going to do a lot of hand watering for different things.I have attached 3 pictures, one of the hose all tangled up as I tested it in this fashion, one of the "gun-type” sprayer, and one of the aluminum fitting on the bib connection.Based on my limited testing, I feel that the hose would be a 5 star product, but I do have to take 1 star away because of the aluminum fittings.
