This extension cord is heavy duty and pretty well built, but had a few issues. First thing I noticed was some of the spades were bent enough that I had to straighten them before it could be used. I straightened that out and it plugged in easily to my RV 50 amp receptacle. I then attempted to plug in my RV shore power cord but it would not completely plug in. No matter how much pressure I put on it, it was not going to plug in all the way. Clearly a shock hazard. Closer examination showed one leg on the female end revealed plastic material from the molded housing was in the bottom of the hole. I could have returned it but the self doer in me just decided to get that out. Small screw driver and a pick and in about 15 min I was able to get 90% of it cleaned out. It was enough to get the plug to fully seat. Had I not had these two issues I would have given it 5 stars.
