Review on 📚 Versatile Regency Flip Flop Folding Bookcase - Medium Oak, Perfect for Small Spaces and Portability by Pablo Rudon

After reading other reviews I decided it was bullshit whether I was going to get a bad block or not. Mine arrived damaged. The shelves fold up and down on metal dowels inserted into the side of each shelf. The top folding shelf in the unit I received was either not assembled properly or was damaged in transit. The wood cracked and a large chunk came loose. There are also metal brackets on the front for each shelf. Damage to the back caused the front bracket to bend, causing the shelf to sit crooked. Unfortunately I can't repackage and return them so I had to make the best of it. I was able to straighten the front metal brace, but this required removing the brace and straightening it with a vise and pliers. Damage is not visible when I lay the top board. Since there isn't much space between the top flip shelf and the top board, I'll just be careful not to put too much on it. I was planning to order a second shelf because I need a matching set. However, I don't know if it's worth playing. I wouldn't recommend ordering these unless you are tool savvy and willing to make repairs or are unable to complete the return process. There is a similar shelf from another manufacturer, fifty dollars cheaper, but not the color I want. I'm very disappointed because I paid a lot more to get the color I wanted.
