I bought two lighters of this type. One of these models, and another model but with the same technology, is a rechargeable battery arc lighter. The same thing happens in both cases - once received and charged, it usually works for a reasonable amount of time - a month or more. Then when you charge it again it only works a couple of times or not at all. The batteries used in these devices are very cheap, have no overcharge protection and are designed for a full charge. By the way, I was careful not to overcharge - I kept the lighter next to me while charging and turned it off once it was fully charged. This and all similar disposable lighters that last about a month. I'm only giving one star because of the misleading advertising of a "rechargeable" lighter. If they were honest and said "disposable" I would have given more stars. When it works, it works well.
