Stop function does not match forward reverse range
Initially I was very happy with the product. I installed inside a building and used it to start stop and reverse a small dc motor. What I found was the forward and reverse worked as expected out to 100 plus feet but the stop would only go out to maybe 50 feet. I reset the fob to no avail. I open up the receiver and looked at the antenna and optimized its length for 433 mhz. And extended it outside the building. That extended the range maybe 20 feet. Not sure what to do next, might try a different transmitter or try to add an antenna to the transmitter. I did replace the battery in the fob—-no impact.
- Used to control a linear actuator, did the job perfectly. Couldn’t beat the price.
- Broke down after a few runs,,, easy install and worked great for a few times,,,,
