The oil pan is not as deep as the original transmission pan. Due to the difference in depth, the transmission filter does not fit (tightly). The transmission fluid does not flow well through the filter due to a tight fit, causing the transmission to not engage. In any case, with a tight fit or poor feed, the gearing would not engage in this sump. I had to spend an extra 3 1/2 hours under the car on the way back to replace this pan with the original design pan. I also spent $40 on transmission fluid since the fluid didn't drain through the bottom drain hole; the transmission filter covers and interferes with the drain hole placement. After returning to the original sump design, the transmission worked flawlessly. I am very dissatisfied with the design and features of the product. I could cut off the bottom tab on the filter to fit better, but I didn't have to modify the filter to fit and I wasn't sure if that would cause other transmission fluid flow problems. Hope this review helps someone. otherwise all the frustration and additional costs and time.
