Optimized Description for Compatibility of Premium Oil Filter Review

The filter did not survive the winter, the weld became rusty and caused a major oil leak. 2 liters of oil consumed. Anyway, I never used the stupid wrench function so it just caused an error I never had even with cheap filters.

I don't like being lied to. This item was listed as brand new but arrived in an open unsealed box, looks like it has been used and refurbished, even smells like it has been used and the numbers don't match which clearly means that it is not an original product in the original packaging. NOT HAPPY😡🤬

Believe me, this is a copy. The filter is not sealed in plastic, the box was over 1 inch taller than the filter, has 6 inlets, different font sizes on the filter housing. I bought one at an auto parts store to compare upon receipt, like all the K+N filters I've had before. The ones I bought were sealed with plastic, the one from the parts store is a bit shorter, has 12 inlets instead of 6, is sealed with plastic and the filter box fits the size of the filter.

there is a BIG design flaw in this filter for RAM 1500 with 5.7 Hemi. After leaking oil everywhere, going to the mechanic many times and finally finding more people online with the same problem, I removed this filter and threw it in the trash. The steps are not the correct depth and will not allow the gasket to cut into the block as intended. Went back to my fram filter and now I have no problems

It looked like a lot so I ordered several. Installation was easy, but the filter's oil life was only 50%, after which a significant amount of oil leaked from the nut at the end. If that wasn't enough when I tried to take it off the nut was too soft to hold the wrench. Since the filter is round and smooth, the oil filter wrench was useless as well. I refused to install the others I bought so I threw them in the trash. Never again.

Then you'll never need it. The only tool you will ever need to remove an oil filter is your hands. All I had to do to get started was hold the damn thing tightly in my hands. I started using K&N filter wrenches many years ago when I saw you could get them for almost half the price of Revain when if I would go to an auto parts shop. Before I bought anything I read comments about them leaking, bursting seals etc. but I also read so many positive reviews that I decided to try them myself. Now my whole family and boyfriend use these filters exclusively. The key is that they are very specific in their name. They're off, not on. You only have to hand tighten them anyway…
