There were no major issues discovered, though the worldwide firmware does come pre-installed with Google's less desirable alternatives to the more user-friendly MIUI phone, contacts, and text messaging apps. So I chose to reflash to Indonesia, first without disabling the bootloader (which caused Google Pay to stop functioning), and then with the bootloader blocked (after which the phone began functioning normally).
