The lights illuminating the rear license plate do not cause any glare in the image. Excellent customer service! There is a card in the package that mentions that you need to contact customer service to 1) get an extended warranty and 2) get a free solar panel to charge the camera. Communicated with Emma via email - she extended the warranty from 12 to 18 months. The solar chargers were out of stock but she ordered them for me from China and they will arrive in about 5-6 weeks.
