I'm probably being prejudiced. I'm used to the quality of the DSLR. And so - a good choice for an amateur. I lost the lid after six months of use. The new one costs 240, the "native" one is twice as much. Whine. Some pros: Multifunctional, convenient, almost like a DSLR. Shoots a very good video. Cons below: The lid doesn't stay on well. Noisy compared to a DSLR. Recently I tried to shoot in the hall - it takes a very long time to focus, I didn’t have time to shoot everything I wanted. I took the camera on a trip, then I had to correct more than half of the photos according to the histogram in Photoshop, the pictures turned out to be not bright enough.
