After reading the reviews I was wondering about the 2.4mhz and 5mhz internet bandwidth as I have "capsules" which I've been told will convert my internet coverage to a "mesh -System" so that both ranges are used. I spoke directly to a technician at Proteus (what a pleasure to speak to a human!) and they told me that their device only runs at 2.4MHz. My ISP is Comcast (which is a whole story in itself when I tried to speak to one person) and found the following information: Why can't I see the name of my network's 2.4 and 5 GHz radio bands anymore ? For pods, you only need a WiFi network name and password. Your network still has the 2.4GHz and 5GHz radio bands, but now your gateway will choose the best connection for your devices at all times. Keep in mind that you may need to reconnect devices with your WiFi name and password if they were previously connected to a name associated with the same radio band. I ordered a Proteus AQUO Wi-Fi Water Sensor - PSFD07 - with a 6ft cable. It was extremely easy to set up and after lots of self-test exercises (water detection, unplugging (power outage), power recovery, text and email notifications worked great! I made a typo when setting up the extra second field for power notifications, got it but figured it out by copying and pasting from the first field (to include text messages and emails, and everything works as described in Proteus.
