nylon feels strong and premium. Suede feels comfortable. I bought the dark charcoal because I think it still looks good when dirty. For $60 I don't feel bad getting it dirty. I'll just buy another one. I have over 30 pairs of shoes. Saucony quality is way better than New Balance or Asics is way better at THIS PRICE. I can definitely say that at the $60 mark I prefer and recommend the Saucony with this style. I'm a size 9.5 wide but have worn a 10 most of my life. I have a Saucony Jazz Shadow and $40 Saucony shoes. Landing was always nice and comfortable. Having tried the new Balance and Asics I would personally tell you that Saucony Dare are good.
