Honestly the scissors alone are worth the price of the kit as they come with spare blades. Good quality seam ripper (if you're an amateur seamstress like me, I'd like to question whether you really need a five-stitch seam ripper, and if not, recommend another set); The scissors were frankly useless to me, not because they weren't sharp, but because the blades were uneven. This was not a defect in the product but was clearly intentional and likely allowed someone to cut on a flat surface while maintaining arm mobility. However, they were not very useful for my purposes. I still give it five stars because the set does exactly what it says it does and each item serves its purpose exactly as advertised, but my advice to people considering this set is to see if it really fits your needs is equivalent to.
