Received more than expected

I am very satisfied with the purchase of the thread cutter set. I could spend the same money and get a thread cutter. I bought a set and am very happy with it. It costs money. The scissors are comfortable to hold and I really like the small scissors. Seam rippers were a bonus and a free tape measure was added to the kit.

Great for cutting face mask elastics!

Pleasantly surprised! Would buy again. Pros: / Scissors make clean cuts (per thread, round elastic cord for face masks, scraps of fabric), even across the entire blade (middle and tip) / Thread cutters cut fairly cleanly (but needs help with initial sharpening on aluminum foil) / Cut all 4 thread cutters clean / unbeatable in terms of price "disadvantages": / the scissors must be "primed" because they were initially extremely stiff (open and close the blades about 20 times to "prime") / afterโ€ฆ

Ergonomic sewing aids!

Excellent collection of sewing accessories. I especially like the thread cutter. Cutting threads is easier for people with arthritic hands than with small scissors. Also like the size of the handle on the larger seam ripper. It's much easier to manipulate and my fingers don't get as tired picking out mistakes. I can only recommend this set for this price.

A great little addition to any sewing kit for beginners and experienced users

A great addition to any sewing kit. I bought this set specifically because the scissors have spare blades (although I'm having trouble figuring out where to buy just spare blades). I was pleasantly surprised that the embroidery scissors have a slight curve, making it easier to cut fabric in small places (e.g. trimming rounded edges like sleeves or face masks). I saw in other reviews that some were disappointed with the tape measure. Paper, but it wasn't mine. The tape measure I received is aโ€ฆ

As advertised, but are you sure?

Honestly the scissors alone are worth the price of the kit as they come with spare blades. Good quality seam ripper (if you're an amateur seamstress like me, I'd like to question whether you really need a five-stitch seam ripper, and if not, recommend another set); The scissors were frankly useless to me, not because they weren't sharp, but because the blades were uneven. This was not a defect in the product but was clearly intentional and likely allowed someone to cut on a flat surface whileโ€ฆ
