These things are amazing. I don't know how I've ever worked on anything without either of them. I use it when I disassemble anything. The magnets in the bowl are very strong. The magnetic force is transmitted no matter what you put in the tray, this is not a cheap tray where gear actually needs to touch the tray's surface to stay; All your gear will stick together. Plus, it sticks firmly to any magnetic surface you choose to attach it to. Don't worry about it falling to the ground without warning.
