We bought this changing set to take with us to the hospital when our baby was born. The set is very cute and he looked adorable in it for his newborn photos, but the hat was VERY big. The material itself is very light and has a bit of stretch which is perfect for swaddling, but the hat is too big for a newborn. Our child was 6lb 9oz so not very tall and not small but I am disappointed that his hat kept falling off his head during his photos. I bought this set because I wanted a matching hat but it didn't fit. If you want the right hat for newborn photography, this probably won't work.
