This kind of pump used to be quite expensive. The price is reasonable now, and this is one of the better ones.It's sturdy, well-built and has several very nice features. For example, it will shut itself off if the water level gets low. This prevents the motor from burning out. It also has a two-year warranty. Furthermore, it is a combination pump and filtration package (UV clarifier light keeps the water algae-free) so it will work with fish.There are several options about the water flow. For example, different nozzles allow you to experiment with different fountain shapes and lengths.My favorite feature is the lighting effects. It has an LED spotlight which is VERY COOL!Overall, this is a great pump.
